Permission to Heal?

Are you still asking for permission to heal?

Growing up as a child, we had to ask our parents and caregivers for permission for everything.

To go to the bathroom, to have a cookie, to go outside and play, etc.

Somewhere along the way, we started to make decisions for ourselves.

As adults, we no longer need to ask permission however, it is ingrained in our nervous system to ask.

This is why we consult our friends, parents, doctors, partners, etc. before we do something.

There’s a difference between seeking guidance for something and asking permission for something.

When you seek guidance, you talk to someone with expertise in what you are trying to do. If you need help with your taxes, you would consult an accountant.

This is different from wanting to buy a shirt and having to call a friend or your partner to ask if you’re allowed to buy it.

We are subconsciously asking that if we do something if other people will allow us to.

Today, I want you to know that you get to make decisions for yourself. You do not need to ask permission from anyone else to make a decision.

You know your body best, all you need to do is ask yourself, is this decision going to move me towards my healing or away?

If the answer is towards, you choose it.

Choose you.

Give yourself permission to choose you.

On Tuesday, August 16 @ 1 PM EST on Zoom, I will be hosting a FREE workshop about Beliefs that Keep You From Healing.
