When it comes to healing, it is not about fixing. It is about tending to.

Only things that can be broken (computers, cars, plates, etc.), require fixing.

You are not broken and you do not need to be fixed.

When you are talking on your phone in the car on bluetooth and the call cuts out, you do not think your phone is broken. If you did, then you would throw it out the window. Instead, what you do is call your friend again or drive somewhere else and call back. You re-establish connection.

Healing is about connection and tending to, not about fixing something.

If you are growing a plant, the plant requires soil, sun, water…tending to on a regular basis. Mother nature tends to the plants outside. 

Just like nature, you require tending to.

You don’t eat well once and then stop eating well for the rest of your life.You don’t exercise once and no longer need exercise. It’s a lifelong process.
