Failure Is a Part of Success

Most of us were taught as a child that making a mistake was terrible and that something bad would happen to us if we did.

This is especially true in Asian cultures where perfect marks were expected on every test.

The truth is, you need to fail in order to have success. Failure is a part of success.

What would happen if we never got back on our bikes after we fall? We would never have learned to ride. The same goes with crawling and walking. How many times did we fall before we walked?

However, as an adult, how many times do we give up on our first try?

When someone gives us a negative comment on social media or something doesn’t go quite right, we give up.

We give up on our hopes and dreams!

Instead, we need to remember to lean into our mistakes and allow our mistakes to show us where more work needs to be done.

Our mistakes are our greatest opportunities.

Have trouble seeing your mistakes as opportunities?
