How Committed Are You?

When my patients come in to see me, they tell me they want to be well again or that they want to heal.

But, how committed are they to their health and healing?

Are they a “whatever it takes” or an “as long as” type of person?

Their answer will give me an idea of their prognosis (aka how likely they are to heal).

THE DOCTOR DETERMINES THE DIAGNOSIS, YOU DECIDE YOUR PROGNOSIS

In school, doctors study diseases and the symptoms that make up a disease so they can come up with a diagnosis.

It’s you who decides how well you get. I’ve seen many people come in with the same disease and some heal and some don’t. Some take longer and others, a few weeks. Yes, there are things outside of your control like genetics, race, sex, etc.

However, there are many factors for which you do have control. The food you put in your body, the movement you give it, your thoughts, what you focus on, if you show up for appointments, etc.

“As long as” people want it as long as it’s easy, as long as it doesn’t take too much time, as long as it’s not expensive, they don’t have to give up junk food, etc.

“Whatever it takes” people make healing their priority and sole purpose.

Which one are you?

My next FREE workshop is on Tuesday, July 12 at 1 pm EST on Zoom.

I will be discussing Weight Loss Enegertics.

You will learn:

  • The role of stress and trauma on your weight.
  • How your nervous system is wired for weight gain.
  • Reprogramming your subconscious mind for health and healing.

It’s not what you’re eating, it’s what’s eating you.
