Decide

The first step in making a change in your life is to decide that you want to change.

This may sound like commonsense however, not many of us give ourselves permission to make decisions.

Here’s why:

As a child, many decision are made for you by your parents. You had to ask permission to eat a cookie, go outside to play, you were told when to go to bed, when to wake up, etc.

As you grew older, your parents did not say to you, you are now the authority in your own life. In fact, some parents continue to give unsolicited advice to their adult children.

So, the first step in creating a change in your life i.e. more vitality, more financial abundance, more peace, more courage, etc. is to make a decision.

Nothing happens until you make a decision.

When you make a decision, the next step will then present itself. Let’s say that you decide you’re going to get healthy. Once you make that decision, then you may go to the gym or change your diet.

But, until you decide that getting healthy is what you desire to do, the other steps are not there.

A decision needs to come first.

The minute you decide to move forward, what you need shows up. You need to make decision from where you’re going, not where you are now.

But what are we taught in school? We’re taught that you need to see evidence before making decisions. This is what keeps you stuck in life.

Make a decision. Yes I’m doing this, no matter what.

Life says ok, next step appears. It’s never going to look like show me evidence first and then I will make a decision. That’s rooted in fear.

Suffering happens when you live in indecisions.

You have control over your decisions.

Remember, you create your destiny in every decision you make or don’t make.
