How Trauma Is Stored

Trauma is stored as a vibration

When you get into a car accident, every cell, organ and tissue in your body moves.

When the paramedics arrive, your body quickly triages the brain and vital organs so you can get help if necessary.

A few days later, you may notice more things come up that you didn’t notice at the moment.

Perhaps you have a bruise on your knee or one on your chest from the seatbelt. Either way, your body did not deem them a priority at the time.

When trauma occurs and there is too much information for your body to process at one time, it gets stored as vibration. The vibration is walled off by muscular tension, spinal distortion, forward head posture, etc., so you don’t experience it all at the moment.

In order to experience the vibration, we need a safe environment for our body to feel it.

This is why when you are on my chiropractic table, people often have emotional releases, remember past events, etc.

Over time, if you don’t feel it, you will continue to create tension around it until you are forced to feel it as pain or a symptom.
