Every time you abandon your natural rhythm and timing to match the pace of the world, you give your power away.
Here’s why: You stop listening inward and you start reacting outward.
But your power is not in keeping up with something outside yourself.
Your power is in staying connected to your inner guidance system.
So ask yourself:
What is my natural rhythm?
Not the rhythm of your inbox.
Not the rhythm of social media.
Not the rhythm of expectations.
Your rhythm.
Ask “Why” and Watch Everything Slow Down
There’s a simple way to interrupt the rush:
Ask why.
Why am I doing this?
Why does this matter?
Why am I choosing this path?
The moment you ask why, you create a gap.
You pause, reflect and reconnect.
Speed dissolves in the presence of intention.
You’ve Been Conditioned to Live at Machine Speed
We are living in a world that rewards speed, especially since we spend so much time glued to our computers sand phones.
Instant answers (Think Dr. Google).
Immediate results (Amazon Prime Shipping)
Constant output.
We are being programmed to operate at the speed of machines.
And slowly, we’ve replaced something sacred:
Timing.
We now have a relationship with time that looks like deadlines, clocks, urgency.
But we’ve lost touch with timing.
Divine timing.
Natural timing.
The rhythm of nature…day and night, seasons, cycles, still exists. But many of us no longer live in alignment with it.
We override it.
The Rush Is Where Power Gets Lost
Look around.
A student needs to write a paper and they rush to generate an answer.
A birthday comes up and they rush to find the “right” words online.
We move quickly, but we lose depth.
We produce, but we disconnect.
The rush to do things faster is often the moment we stop doing them with intention.
And that’s how we begin to outsource our power.
Rushed Decisions Are Fear-Based Decisions
When you feel rushed, your body interprets it as stress and sometimes even danger.
So your decisions come from survival. They are quick, protective and reactive.
THey are not intuitive, not creative and not fully considered.
When you slow down, you shift the state that you’re in.
You move from reaction to response.
From fear to clarity.
From urgency to grounded power.
There Is Also a Risk in Moving Too Slowly
This isn’t about avoiding action.
There is a difference between intentional slowness and avoidance.
Moving too slowly can become hesitation, overthinking or staying stuck under the illusion of “waiting for the right time.”
This is where understanding divine timing matters.
It’s not about forcing or about delaying.
It’s about moving in alignmen yout with your body, mind, and intuition
A New Way Forward
Instead of asking: “How can I do this faster?”
Try asking: “What speed does this require?”
Because your power doesn’t come from keeping up with the world.
It comes from staying connected to yourself within it.
