How Do You Make Decisions?

We all make decisions several times a day. The question isn’t whether you have to make them but who are you being when you make them.

This is very important because the person you are being in the moment essentially chooses who you want to become, one decision at a time.

Most of us, make our decisions from a place of fear. We want to run away from something. A pain, emotions we don’t want to feel again, fear of losing money, losing health, etc. Just look at all the things we would give up in order to feel safe and secure.

If you are in a place where you are feeling happy, continue in this way. If you are searching for more, perhaps make a decision from another version of you.

Ships are safest in the harbour but that’s not what ships are built for.

Instead of making decisions out of fear or running away from something, try going towards something.

Ask yourself, what decisions will get me closer to the life and future that I desire?

Do you exercise because you fear being overweight or do you do it to be healthy?

Are you staying in a job, relationship, etc. because you’re scared you can’t find another or are you passionate and motivated by what you do or the people you surround yourself with?

The quality of your decisions will reflect the quality of your life. Choose the decision that brings you towards the highest version of yourself and over time, that is who you will become.
