Day 3: Discernment, Intuition & Alchemy

Today we move into one of the most important parts of embodied surrender:
discernment.

We often talk about letting go, releasing, and healing but the truth is, not every moment is a moment to process your trauma.
And that is not a failure.
It’s wisdom.

There are three frequencies I want you to hold today:

1. Discernment in Trauma Healing

Sometimes you are not ready to process your trauma — and that is okay.

Sometimes you are ready, and you need additional support, guidance, or safety.

And sometimes, in a moment of clarity and readiness, you are able to fully let something go.

Every one of these paths is valid.
Every version of you is doing the best it can with the tools it has in the moment.
Discernment is knowing where you are — without judgment.

2. Knowing the Difference Between Intuition & Fear

Fear is loud.
Fear is urgent.
Fear contracts your body.

Intuition is quiet.
Intuition is steady.
Intuition expands your body.

Fear says, “Don’t go there — it’s dangerous.”
Intuition whispers, “Not yet — you need more safety first.”

Fear closes.
Intuition guides.

Learning the difference is essential in surrender, because your body always knows the truth before your mind does.

3. A Story of Alchemy

Recently, I had a moment with my daughter that unexpectedly touched a place inside me I hadn’t realized was still holding a 40-year-old wound.

And instead of collapsing into the old story…
instead of pushing it away or trying to be “strong”…
I stayed present.

And in that presence, something alchemized.
A trauma I had carried for decades dissolved — not because I forced it, but because I was finally safe enough, resourced enough, and ready enough to release it.

That is the power of embodied surrender.
It meets you exactly where you are.
It asks for truth, not perfection.

Today, let discernment be your medicine.
Notice the difference between fear and intuition.
Honour the pace your body needs.
And trust that healing unfolds in the exact moment you are ready — no sooner, no later.
