Day 14 – Letting Go of Competition

Today we soften one of the deepest, most ingrained patterns we carry:
competition.

Competition tells us there is limited space, limited success, limited love, limited recognition.
It whispers that if someone else is shining, there is less room for us.

But this is not how life works.
And it is not how love works.

Today, we practice seeing the world through a different lens — the lens of contribution instead of comparison.

Imagine you have two children.

One is funny.
One is creative.

You don’t love one more because they’re funnier.
You don’t value one less because their gift looks different.

Their gifts don’t compete — they complement.
Their uniqueness doesn’t threaten the family — it enriches it.

Each child amplifies the household in their own way.
Each brings something essential.
Each belongs.

This is how it is meant to be with us, too.
