On Day 3, we talked about how abundance already exists around us, but our ability to perceive it is often distorted by the lenses of fear, shame, guilt, and scarcity.
Today, we’re going deeper.
Where did those lenses come from?
Your Programming Began Long Before You Were Aware of It
Every one of us arrived in this world open, impressionable, and constantly learning.
As children, our nervous systems were gathering information about how the world works.
We learned what was safe.
What was dangerous.
What was acceptable.
What was unavailable.
What was possible for us.
Much of this learning happened before we had the ability to question it.
It became our coding.
Sometimes the messages were direct:
“Money doesn’t grow on trees.”
“That’s too expensive.”
“We can’t afford that.”
Other times the messages were unspoken.
We watched our parents worry about bills.
We observed tension around money.
We witnessed conflict in relationships.
We felt disappointment, fear, rejection, or instability.
The nervous system records all of it.
And over time, these experiences become programs that operate automatically beneath our awareness.
So what do we do about that?
