What happens when you’re supposed to feel an emotion, and you don’t?
When an emotion arises and we don’t allow ourselves to fully experience it, the process remains incomplete.
It’s as if the body places a bookmark in that experience and says:
“We’re not done with this yet.”
The emotion becomes frozen.
Not because your body is working against you.
But because your body is waiting for the experience to be completed.
This is where things get interesting.
Many people believe the problem is the emotion itself.
It’s not.
