Over the last 18 days, we’ve discovered that emotions are meant to move through us.
Today, I want to introduce a concept that explains why emotional pain can feel so overwhelming.
It’s called compound emotions.
When something happens to you, your body has an original response.
If you allow yourself to fully feel this emotion, it would move through you and be processed.
But, as we discussed before, we’re not good at feeling bad so here’s what we do instead…
